Events Cancellation and Refund Policy

The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to refuse/cancel registrations. If your Carroll Chamber refuses a registration, registrants will be offered a refund.

Event Cancellation by Chamber
The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment, inclement weather or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable. If the Carroll Chamber cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.

In the case of inclement weather, the Chamber office follows the Carroll County Government schedule. If an event is cancelled or the Chamber office is closed, it will be posted on the Chamber website and on our Facebook page.

Registration Cancellation by Participant
Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a refund for an event is two business days (48 hours) before the event. Payments are collected at the door for most events. Due to the cost of events like the Business Success Luncheons to the Carroll Chamber, those with reservations who do not show and who do not cancel their reservation will be invoiced. Cancellations will be accepted in writing only and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline. Cancellation requests must go to the address only.

These above policies apply to all Carroll Chamber events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.
