Hey Carroll County Chamber!
November 9th, you guys were kind enough to join me for the ribbon cutting of my new shop “garden”. Tomorrow is 2 months and we are still having fun and loving being a business in Carroll County! The chamber’s marketing to its members before the event and the follow up social media were amazing and helped raise awareness of the new business. I am so thankful for all you do for industry, small business and our community!

My name is Brooke Gibbs with Country Financial on Maple St in Carrollton. During the transition of my business from one ownership to another, and after joining the Carroll County Chamber, it was with no question that I wanted to do a ribbon cutting ceremony.
I already had knowledge of this type of event from the advertising on the Carroll County Chamber Facebook Page. I contacted my primary person and they were more than willing to help walk me through the process for this event. It was a very exciting time, as we were turning over a new leaf and wanted the community to know what new and exciting thing were to come or our agency.
The morning of our Ribbon cutting Ceremony was a very busy and exciting time, as the time drew closer there were plenty of friendly faces from the local chamber that were there and guided us along the way. We were informed about having small refreshments, and having plenty of people there to support the new venture. This was a great experience and I would suggest anyone, opening a new business, changing ownership, or even just doing a facelift to their business and are a member of the Chamber to do a Ribbon Cutting. It is a great way to let the community know everything that is local and be able explore those new ventures.
